The twin engines of momentum

The process of building and maintaining momentum is one of constant iteration. But as some of those firms also demonstrate, momentum can easily be lost if the process for maintaining does not become systematic to the way a firm does business. The Momentum Process Step by Step

The process consists of eight elements, forming the twin engines of momentum: Momentum Design and Momentum Execution. The first, momentum design consists of:

  • Compelling insights. The hidden nuggets for growth that do not emerge from the routine operations of a business.
  • Compelling value. Value that is perceived so intensely that it has a magnetic attraction.
  • Compelling equity. People who represent assets of tremendous potential equity
  • Power offer design. Harnessing compelling value and equity to create an offer with built in traction.

Note how the arrows show that this side of the process is interactive and iterative with each stage feeding into, and feeding off those on either side of it.

The spark that ignites momentum is the Power Offer – this is where the twin engines of design and execution meet and exchange energy.

 

The second engine is power offer execution, consisting of.

  • Power offer execution. Unleashing and enhancing the traction built in the offer.
  • Vibrant satisfaction. An emotional level of happiness that leads to positive retention.
  • Vibrant retention. An emotional level of loyalty that leads to positive engagement.
  • Vibrant engagement. An emotional level of involvement that leads to exceptional growth and further improvements in the power offer execution.
